FOIl
An eFoil is a surfboard equipped with a mast and a hydrodynamic wing (foil) driven by an electric motor.
As speed increases, the foil lifts the board out of the water, providing a unique sensation of smooth, silent gliding — almost like flying over the waves.
Powered by a rechargeable battery and controlled by a wireless remote, the eFoil lets you ride without wind or waves, in total freedom — on a lake, river, or the sea.

Watt the Foil breaks industry standards by offering a unique design that houses all electronics and batteries inside the mast.
Mechanical engineer, inventor by nature, curious, and an extreme sports enthusiast, I’m proud to present the culmination of one of the many projects I’ve worked on in my free time: the electric foil!
It all started during university in 2019, when this new water sport was gaining popularity. There were very few opportunities to try it in our region, and the average retail price ($14,000) made the experience inaccessible for most.
That’s when, with two classmates, Paul and Arthur, we took on the challenge of designing and building our own water machine. On June 11th of this year, we met at Lac Beauport to celebrate the success of the challenge — six years later and after many attempts and iterations!

Video creator: Alexis Charest.
While a functional prototype was completed this summer, we still need to make some improvements before bringing it to market.
Official sales are planned for Summer 2026!
